Healing comes in many forms and fashions. Sometimes it’s from a doctor, sometimes it’s from our own bodies, and sometimes healing is done in a miraculous way.
Below is a list of powerful healing scriptures from the Bible that can provide comfort, strength, and faith during times of illness or difficulty.
After those I’ve given a bunch of quotes on healing as well.
It’s my hope that you find solace in something here and if you know somebody going through a difficult time please feel free to share this page with them.

When God Heals
That was an incredible story of miraculous healing that I wanted to share.
But sometimes God doesn’t heal and sometimes He does.
Why?
I, like you, am only a mortal so I do not know the answer to that question but I know that God is sovereign.
His will will always be done.
Isaiah 55:11 says “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
When God wants to heal, He does. There is nothing too great for our God.
Below is another video.
If you’re here today looking for healing I can’t speak to what God will or won’t do, but I can say that His word tells us to cast all of our cares upon Him because He cares for us (I Peter 5:7).
Maybe you’ve come to this page searching for something and you’re not really a spiritual or religious person.
If that’s the case, I encourage you to open your mind, heart, and spirit and watch the video below.
Perhaps today will be the day that God shows up and shows out in your life.
Prayer for Healing
Did you watch the video?
Sometimes God heals immediately in a miraculous way and I hope that happened for you.
But sometimes, God brings the right people into our lives to help us heal.
If you weren’t miraculously healed, it doesn’t mean your healing isn’t coming.
Have some faith, it can work wonders.
Faith and Healing
Do you have faith that you’ll be healed?
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrew 11:1).
I’m not sure exactly what all the elements are to God’s healing but I know that science is catching up.
The more we learn, the more we know that we don’t know much.
Quantum physics and quantum mechanics is starting to scratch the surface on this.
Really crazy stuff like the fact that our universe is still expanding (Maybe a creator doing some more creating?… ya’ think?).
Or quantum entanglement that baffles us with how 2 particles can be connected and react to each other even if on other sides of the planet.
Or… one of my favorite, Quantum healing and consciousness which basically theorizes that everything is made of energy and that being said our thoughts and beliefs can actually alter outcomes.
Doctors have known it for years.
The patients who believe they are going to get better and stay positive about their situation have a higher likelihood of being fully restored.
Another word for all of that is something that Jesus and the bible refers to as “faith”.
So have some faith.
If you’re not a bible reader, below is the story of when Jesus and the faith of a centurion (a centurion was basically a roman soldier).
Matthew 8:5-13
5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”
7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.
There are other places in scripture where Jesus was not able to do many miracles because of the lack of faith.
So you must have faith to be healed.
Not sure why it works that way, but scientific evidence is starting to back up what God teaches us in His word.
You can fight it and be right or you can surrender to it and increase your chances of healing.

Healing with Fasting
This entire article came to fruition because of my morning.
I woke up early, had some coffee, and turned on the Youtube since nobody else in my family was awake.
I’ve been experimenting with intermittent fasting and so when I saw the video below I figured I’d click on it.
90 minutes later I was so impressed with the documentary and also with what I learned about the bodies ability to heal itself.
I encourage you to take a watch….
